the cafe in the lobby makes delicious matcha lattes and perfect croissants!!! croissants were free for breakfast. i loved the art everywhere and the overall feel of the hotel with the two courtyards. freeman alley is a photographers dream.
the room was tiny. there was no coffee machine as shown in photos. the staff were not very helpful and did not give me any information on arrival. there was quite a lot of noise in the corridors at night.

the hotel is located down a dark alley. i felt uncomfortable walking through it alone at night. it would be great to have better lighting or security measures in place.

The provided water bottles are available on each floor. I found that particularly useful. I also appreciated the complimentary pastry and coffee each morning. It was a nice way to start the day.
My room faced a busy street, and there were no blackout curtains. This let a lot of light in early.

the location WAs Convenient. It was a short walk to several subway lines. i also liked the complimentary breakfast pastries and coffee.
the room I booked was smaller than expected. storage space was limited. also, I notice some noise from the hallway at night, it was a slight bother.
